About

I’m a 17-year creative who has spent most of my working career in entertainment. I gravitate toward digital design, as I love design + tech, but there’s something about seeing your work in physical form that doesn’t get old.

I majored in graphic design at Cal State Northridge. Though I missed out on my first choice to study in Long Beach (my fault), this actually was a blessing in disguise as it lead me to my first job outside of college, and introduced me to my love of working digitally.

While having dabbled in web design during college, my first job landed me designing and supporting DVD and Blu-ray menus. I instantly fell in love because I saw parallels with web; there’s a balance between flash vs function and design + tech. It also instilled a strong attention to detail, both while designing and delivering. That meticulous nature would never leave.

I finally overcame my fear of print after riding the rocky terrain of multiple business restructurings, and wouldn’t you know it actually helped me become a better designer! Though I’ll always lean digital, be it web or otherwise, it’s been refreshing to get some use out of my education.

When I’m not dealing with deadlines or pixels, I’m most likely at a tiki bar or deep-diving into animation. I’m presently learning how to become a better human as I raise two young girls, hoping that some day it will all pay off.
