About Me

I earned my BA in Graphic Design at California State University, Northridge. Shortly after graduation I landed my first design role which introduced me to the love of working digitally.

Though I dabbled in web throughout college, my first job saw me designing DVD and Blu-ray menus. I instantly fell in love because I saw parallels with web; there’s a necessary balance between what’s flashy and what’s functional. Design and tech make great partners. It also instilled a strong attention to detail, a meticulous nature would never leave.

I finally overcame my fear of print after riding the rocky terrain of multiple corporate restructurings, and wouldn’t you know it actually helped me become a better designer! It’s been refreshing to get some use out of my on-the-job education.

When I’m not dealing with deadlines or pixels, I’m most likely unwinding at a tiki bar or deep-diving into animation. I’m presently learning how to become a better human as I raise two young girls, hoping that some day it will all pay off.
